Joey Gallagher filmed the wonderfully titled short film Getaway in a haze. Those moments of interstitial steam in Wayne’s World where they make the funny sound and all their dreams come true, it’s like the pretty surfing version of that. Dudes catching waves to the best Ducktails song ever and some mystic jammers from Calvin of Tough Knuckles is not awesome during daylight savings time. Just because we are jealous creatures.
