...Najtuzniji album godine...
Magnolia Electric Co.’s Jason Molina is on the mend from health issues, undergoing treatment in West Virginia despite a struggle to cover medical bills. His family launched a donation drive for Molina, the result of which, he says, “has been better than I could have ever imagined.”
In addition to funds collected by direct donation, 10% of proceeds from a new art book and record are going to the cause, as well. Titled From Black Sheep Boys To Bill Collectors, the hardcover collection features artwork by William Schaff, whose work we’ve seen covering albums by Okkervil River, Molina’s Songs: Ohia project, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and others. Included is an introduction written by the Mountain Goats’ John Darnielle with other contributions penned by Will Sheff and Darren Jackson of Kid Dakota. Molina also recorded 8 solo songs specifically for the project a few years ago, which will arrive bundled with the book on 10″ vinyl as Autumn Bird Songs.
